Senior Backend (GO) Engineer

Вакансия Senior Backend (Go) Engineer в компании Kake (технологическая компания, разрабатывающая веб‑приложения для потребительских товаров). Работа удалённая, базируется в Мексике. Инженер будет участвовать в создании масштабируемых, защищённых API и событийно‑ориентированных систем для платёжных и коммерческих сервисов глобальной спортивной и развлекательной компании, включая обработку платежей, подписок, биллинга, налогов, возвратов и коммерции в прямом доступе к потребителю. Требуется 5+ лет опыта, знание Go, опыта с платёжными шлюзами (Stripe, Adyen, Braintree), SQL/NoSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, опыт работы с генеративным ИИ и т.д.

Обязанности

Lead the technical direction of key commerce capabilities, from architecture and design through production.; Design and build scalable, secure APIs and event-driven systems.; Work on payment authorization and capture, refunds, disputes, reconciliation, and subscription lifecycle management.; Build reliable systems that handle retries, out-of-order webhooks, idempotency, and eventual consistency.; Make architecture decisions balancing reliability, security, cost, and speed of delivery.; Take ownership of production systems, including incident response, root-cause analysis, and follow-up improvements.; Write high-quality production code with meaningful test coverage and automation.; Mentor other engineers and help raise the engineering standards across the team.; Evaluate emerging payment and commerce technologies and identify opportunities to improve conversion, reliability, and operational efficiency.; Work closely with stakeholders across different business areas to build reusable commerce capabilities without compromising their individual customer experiences.

Требования

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on scalable APIs and event-driven systems.; Strong proficiency in Go — commerce services are primarily written in Go, and you should be ready to contribute to production code from day one.; Experience with payments or commerce platforms, such as Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, or similar.; Strong understanding of software architecture and large-scale system design.; Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, ideally DynamoDB and Redis.; Professional experience with AWS or another major cloud provider.; Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.; Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills.; Professional experience using Generative AI tools in software development.; Strong ownership mindset and experience operating production systems.; Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across a distributed, global team.
