Simulator Engineer/C++

We are looking for a Simulator Engineer in C++ to join the algorithms and simulation team. Responsibilities include supporting, modifying, designing and implementing a system simulator architecture for 4G/LTE and 5G, implementing components in C++ (functional blocks, 3GPP standard blocks, L2/L3 algorithms), interacting with development and R&D teams, studying L2+ algorithms, writing specifications, ensuring compliance with 3GPP updates, and reviewing simulator code. Expectations: higher education in computer science, telecommunications or related field; experience designing software systems using architectural patterns and UML; 1‑3 years C++ programming; initiative and ability to solve problems independently, willingness to learn new areas; strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in distributed teams. Nice to have: experience in software architecture and specification development for telecommunications and wireless systems; knowledge of communication theory, mathematical statistics and probability theory; experience developing mathematical models. Location: Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Minsk, Nizhny Novgorod. Hybrid work format.

Обязанности

Implement various components of the system simulator in C++, including functional blocks, blocks defined in the 3GPP standard, and L2/L3 algorithm elements; interact with development and algorithm R&D teams to determine which blocks need to be implemented; be prepared to deeply study L2+ algorithms (MAC‑PS, power allocation, channel adaptation, service transmission, etc.); compose specifications for developed simulator blocks; ensure simulator compliance with current 3GPP standard updates; participate in simulator code reviews.
